Sarah Michelle Brown - First Hand Woman
FIRST HAND WOMAN is approximately 5 years in the making now
, and I just received our performance dates for the Next Stage festival today. Yay!

I also found out that FIRST HAND WOMAN is the first one to receive a request for group ticket sales… and from a Toronto-based Seniors Home!!! Totally unexpected, so how great is that???

I’m so excited to be bringing this play to my home city. I’m counting the days to our Toronto debut: January 7th 2009!

(Can’t sleep much.)

Working 20-hour days at the moment, (yikes, I know) but it’s worth it. I can’t wait for the audiences here to be moved and inspired (crossing fingers).

Ooo, my spidey senses are tingling.   🙂

Okay, so here’s where YOU come in. I want you to promise to take time today for yourself to play. Even if it’s just for a few minutes. Take that time and do something that makes you feel great! A 3-minute solo dance party, a delightful jaunt out in nature, it’s up to you. I will also listen to my own advice and join you on this. I’m feeling the overwhelm these days, but I think that means that I REALLY need to make some plain old fashioned “play time”.

Alrightee, we have our assignments. So find that time today. Give yourself permission to play and then come back here, comment and let me know how it went. Was it easy or hard for you to do? Did it help clear your head? Do tell.  🙂

And as always…

Dream up,

Sarah Michelle Brown
