It’s been just over a month since First Hand Woman’s in New York City. Believe it or not, it’s taken me this long to recover and to finally start wrapping my head around everything that’s happened in the past several months.

What a whirlwind!

I can hardly believe the coverage that we got. Sweet mentions in The New York Times, Time Out, Gotham Magazine and Downtown Magazine, Notable.ca, FernTV, and Canada Arts Connect? Crazy! Beautiful reviews from NYtheatre.com and Theatre is Easy?

So outstanding! And now that I’m back in Toronto, many people have been asking me “Now what?” and “When is First Hand Woman going up next? FYI I will be wrapping my head around next steps for the play in the coming months, so stay tuned.

Otherwise, this past month I have been getting my health back – yep I got that cold.

You know, the one that comes as soon as all the pressure stops? Yeah, that’s the one I caught. Plus I have been quite fatigued and am still catching up.

I’ve also been dealing with life stuff, as everything had been on hold this year to make room for the NYC debut. I’ve got a production coming up in October of a short play that I wrote and that I’ll also be directing, Near Life Experience. More deets coming soon. Get a sneak peek HERE.

Lastly, a giant acknowledgement and thank you to Pennant Media Group, for their tireless support of First Hand Woman and for making magic happen in The Big Apple. I HIGHLY recommend these stellar publicists.

Okay, back into the decompression.  🙂

And as always…

Dream up,
