Painting and drawing is an adventure that began in summer 2018.
I hadn’t really done it since grade nine art class – with an occasional interesting drawing every five years or so.
But… I was dealing with a back injury that was keeping me from directing my film works, and I desperately needed to find a new creative outlet.
So I took inspiration from Frida Kahlo, bought a mixed media training book and some paint.
And that was it.
I was hooked!
I became an instant mixed media hobbyist and as I kept painting, I quickly began to get some purchase requests.
Wow!
