Opening night… OMG!
The excitement and nerves are simply through the roof. I think the entire FIRST HAND WOMAN team is buzzing now that opening night is finally upon us. I’m soooo proud of everyone.
It really was a magical rehearsal process. Soooo wonderful to see everyone dive deeper and further with their work; taking risks and facing their fears.
A wonderful wonderful group of creative, talented, intelligent and compassionate people.
I’ve been awake since 5:00am… again. I cannot wait until I can sleep through the night once more. Lol
Tonight’s the night, and I can hardly believe it’s here. I’ve been working on FIRST HAND WOMAN since 2004, and it’s just now starting to sink in that we are having our debut in my home town TONIGHT. How does it feel? Well…
- Terrifying! – Lol
The feeling in my belly reminds me of the time I faced my fear of flying by jumping out of a plane. Check out that post HERE. 🙂
Life is indeed strange and beautiful.
One last note, I hope you already have your tickets. We are almost completely sold out for the run. So if you don’t have em yet, visit The Next Stage festival’s WEBSITE and plunk down your amazing moolah.
Time to get into actor mode! Hope to see you at the show!!!
And as always…
