What do I crave after bringing my stage play First Hand Woman to New York City this past summer?

Oh that’s an easy answer: Simplicity.

It’s been about a month and a half since the play closed.

I’ve had some much needed down time, and it’s now time to roll up my sleeves and get back into the swing of things.

I’ve decided to keep my goals really simple as I continue to recover from the intensity of this past year. I had soooo many to-do’s going through my brain, that I literally couldn’t shut off for seven months straight.

It was no small feat making a piece of my dreams come true, I tell ya.

Have you ever done that? Missed experiencing some of the great stuff, while making said great stuff happen?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m THRILLED that I took the play to NYC, that we got amazing reviews and press coverage (The New York Times?? – I mean really).

But life is too short for the good stuff to also be the tough stuff.

What do you think? Are you able to enjoy your big accomplishments or are you too busy to take them in?

What do you do to keep things simple? Leave a comment below and let me know your own tips and tricks for creating balance in busy times.

And as always…

Dream up,
